TWIN VILLAGE ART SOCIETY MEMBERSHIP.

Twin Village Art Society Membership is open to anyone with an interest in art, or the friendship of those who are. Annual dues are $20 ($35 for a married couple) We meet the first Monday of the month in the Village of Lancaster Municipal building at the corner of Central Avenue and Broadway, in the Village of Lancaster, New York. Our meeting is held at 7:00pm on the second floor, enter thru the rear parking lot door. Visitors are welcome. No meeting in July or August.

At most meetings we have demonstrators who give us tips on their particular form of art. Occasionally we have held discussion nights where members who are experienced share their knowledge on many topics, including sales tax, framing and mounting, even selling on e-bay. Watch this web site for information on upcoming demonstrators and or other Art related events.

Members can participate in several shows during the year. We sponsor a Lancaster Library judged show in the spring. With two categories, Expert and Novice. The Novice group compete for ribbons, while the Expert group compete for monetary awards as well as ribbons. We also sponsor a one day show in November, held in the Municipal building. This show is open to all members, while we rent tables for crafters or non-members.
